Men's Ministry
The Men's Ministry at LCC is a fairly recent development. In fact, there is a team of men working to develop our ministry further. Right now, the Men's Breakfast is the core of what we do, but we are expanding.
Men's Breakfast
We meet the first Friday of every month at 6a to enjoy man's best meal, breakfast. Our great cooks usually throw together a hearty breakfast of eggs, sausage, and pancakes. Usually, one of our fellow men will share a testimony and encouragement from God's work in their life.

Men's Bible Study
A Long Obedience in the Same Direction (by Eugene Peterson)
6:00am Fridays (September 23rd - November 18th)
“Long Obedience in the Same Direction” - In the Songs of Ascent (Psalms 120-134), Peterson discovers an old Hebrew songbook used by pilgrims on their way up to Jerusalem. He seizes on these verses to teach lessons on discipleship and encouraging us to grow in joy, service, humility, and community.

Grill 'n Chill
The Men of LCC gather on the 3rd Thursday of every month at Brent Smith's house (2 Cedar Hill Rd. Longview, TX).
There'll be a grill and no frills; veggies are optional. Please bring $4 for burgers and a chip, dessert, or soda.
