Ladies' Communi-tea
Community is a word that often gets worn out in our Christian circles and seldom is lived out in how we relate to one another. Its purpose is to love one another in such a way that one would be enticed to want more of Christ. The women in scripture model for us how to relate to one another and how relate to God. They invite us to join in community with them as we walk toward becoming lovely ladies that deeply long for God. They are cheering us on and hoping we choose to follow the same God they did.
Sonya Reeder will be the speaker at our “communi-tea” this year that will be held at the church on Oct. 24. She will be talking about women in the Bible who have gone before us and who invite us to join in community with them as we live out our beauty and as we follow our God.
