2011 Leadership Summit
If you’ve been here on a Sunday in the past few weeks, you have either seen a poster or heard an announcement about the upcoming LCC Leadership Summit on January 14th & 15th. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that you need to be at this Summit if at all possible. Here’s why…
The reality is LCC has grown and God is moving in the midst of this church body. The simple phrase, “Real God, Messy People, Changed Lives”, has been caught by this church and has been noticed by the community of Longview. Through this local church, the message of the good news of Christ is going out.
At this summit we will be seeking God and asking some questions.
- How do we respond to this growth in order to PRESS ON together to bring this GOSPEL message to more people?
- As we look ahead at life together for the next 2 to 3 years, which ministry areas need focused attention?
- How do we move as a church into this world, to impact both our Longview community and around the world?
- What are our concerns and expectations regarding the growth of God’s church and how do we handle that?
We will start Friday by approaching our God together in Worship and Seek Direction Together as a body of believers. Then, on Saturday, we will roll up our sleeves and deal with those key areas we need to focus on to set our course for the next 2 to 3 years.
This is why YOU need to be here….We need you to be a part of this work with us…the elders ask you to put it on your calendar and make plans to join us. We will start Friday night at 7PM and on Saturday at 9AM, finishing shortly after lunch. Childcare will be provided as well.
