Ninos de Mexico - Day 4

The Lord is amazing!  Yesterday was a very productive day.  We also had a wonderful time at a birthday party we were all invited to attend.

Let me start with the productive day.  As you all aready know we have been painting and putting a coating of roofing materials on the roof.  (I am not sure what to call the roofing material)  Any way Steve, our missions leader, had two other helpers come with us yesterday.  They took over helping with coating the roof while some of our men began the job of removing huge water tanks that sat on top of the roof.  The government official wanted Ninos to change the water tanks to a more modern tank.  So, our men and women on the roof lowered with rope 4 tanks that weighed a lot, I am not good at estimating, but trust me, it took all the men and women to lower the tanks.  What amazing team work that was displayed!  God knew who to send.  The other ladies are finishing up the painting in the house.  They had distractions since the house was all getting ready for the the big birthday party.

The party was amazing.  Mexicans know how to party.  One of the girls had turned 18 on Sunday and they had a party in her honor on Tuesday.  It was great to see how the group gets togther to honor one of God's children.  We women began to cry as she spoke to say thank you to her house parents as tears ran down her face.  God is so good!.  We can tell the whole story when we get back.
