Leadership
The life of this church is led by men chosen by our church community to serve as the leaders of this local church. The term from the Bible for these men is "elders". This group of elders does many things, but for the most part they depend on God for guidance and direct the church accordingly.
As a church, we are not formally associated with any larger church or denominational structure. We do have informal “partnership” or “team” kinds of relationships with some other churches through which we do some things we can’t accomplish alone. For example, we “partner” with some churches to own and direct a camp. We “partner” with some other churches to carry on various benevolent and outreach works in places from Asia to Mexico to here in Longview.

Troy Bayne
Family Minister
Troy Bayne has been on staff at Longview Christian as Associate Minister since August 2006 and feels blessed to serve with such an amazing group of believers in Christ whose excitement about God’s work is contagious. Troy’s focus is overseeing the Student, Outreach, and Worship Team Ministries. Before coming on staff, Troy worked for 17 years as a computer analyst at Eastman Chemical Company. He has served as a junior high and senior high school leader/teacher/sponsor since 1994 and has participated in and led on our worship team since 1998. Troy and his wife Judy have three daughters, Haley, Kristin, and Allison.
Bob Sieh
Teaching Minister
Bob Sieh joined the staff of LCC as Teaching Minister in July of 2009, after he and his wife, Vickie, had just finished a 39 year ministry with the Rossville Christian Church in Rossville. Bob has degrees in ministry from Manhattan Christian College, Manhattan, Kansas, and Kentucky Chrisitan College in Grayson, Kentucky The Siehs have a married son and daughter and five grandchildren. Bob's responsibilities are in the areas of preaching, education and leadership development. Because his son and family have attended LCC for years Bob has been familiar with the church and is impressed by how God has worked in and through her. He is excited about being a part of the ministry of this dynamic congregation.
Ben Ehmke
Media Director
Ben Ehmke has been on staff at Longview Christian as an intern during the summer of 2007, and as a part-time staff member since January 2008. Recognizing that image and effective communication matters, Ben serves as the Media Director coordinating various areas of media including: publications, website, video production.
Diana Bayne
Children's Director
Diana Bayne has been on staff at Longview Christian as Children's Director since February 2008. Diana has a passion for children, and seeing them grow to know God. She serves in a part-time role organizing our children's studies, events, and activities.
