We believe that there is one God, who is the creator and sustainer of all things seen and unseen.
We believe that Jesus, the Son, who has always been from the very beginning, is completely equal, of the same substance, and has always played an instrumental role in God’s dealings with creation.
We believe that Jesus was indeed born of a virgin; was in fact truly human; lived a sinless life; was crucified, died, was buried and then rose again in accordance with the scriptures; is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will return to judge the living and the dead.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is also an equal part of the Trinity and resides within those who exist and persist in a relationship with the Father through the Son.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and is vital in illuminating the character and nature of God and is useful for teaching, training, and equipping of believers in their pursuit of Christ.
We believe that though there are many local manifestations of the body of Christ, we are all on the same team inside of a commonly held set of Christian beliefs. We believe that there is room for conversation around issues of secondary doctrine and that difference of opinion doesn’t necessitate a break in partnership or fellowship.
We believe that all people are created in the image of God, that He, in the beginning, crafted humanity distinctly with special blessings to both male and female to bring Him glory and honor. We believe that we are created to respond to our God in worship and that the fullest picture of who we each are is found ultimately in the Father through the sacrifice of the Son.
We believe that we all have sinned and are separated from God. We believe that redemption can only be found in Jesus Christ, who, in his death, paid the price for our sins. The free gift of salvation is received by faith in Christ’s sacrifice on our behalf, bringing complete restoration to our relationship with God.
We believe that we, as part of the larger church, are called to tell others about the redemption that is to be found in Christ; that it is the responsibility of all who enjoy the privilege of a relationship with God to share the grace that we have been given; and that we find our greatest fulfillment in living a life in step with our Father.
We believe that there is power and comfort found in prayer. Through this line of communication with our God, we may experience his leading, be used in things beyond our singular ability, grow in our understanding of his nature, and express ourselves freely to the God who hears us.
